FM DELIVERS CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold delivered a congratulatory message to all Mongolian people on the 50th anniversary of Mongolia's joining the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) celebrated on Thursday. Mongolia joined the UNESCO on November 1 in 1962, becoming thus its 108th member. The UNESCO's ideology and actions focus on a purpose to distribute peace around the world. "Mongolia adheres to this ideology and has been developing the education, sciences, culture and communication sectors for peace," he underlines. Mongolia's state and people are steadily stand for peace and play an important role in the international community. The Mogolians are proud to develop the culture, education, sciences and communication and to contribute to strengthening of the global peace, he says. Mongolia's National Commission for UNESCO has been supporting a participation of state organizations, NGOs and people in implementation of the UNESCO ideology in frames of the bilateral memorandum of mutual understanding, and has been providing them with opportunities to contribute to the country's progress. Then Mr Bold congratulates all officers and seniors who worked in Mongolia's National Commission for UNESCO, state organizations, NGOs and in diplomatic missions of Mongolia. B.Khuder
