FM MEETS JAPAN'S DELEGATION OF DEFENSE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold received a delegation headed by Mr Hironori Kanazawa, the State Secretary of the Defense Ministry of Japan on Thursday. The sides mentioned a matter on developing the bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, which is reflected in the 2012 Joint Declaration on Developing the Strategic Partnership, and considered that these ties will significantly contribute to strengthening of the military confidence and mutual understanding not only at the bilateral level, but also on regional arena, and to ensuring of the international peace and stability. The parties also expressed a mutual aspiration to regularize mutual visits in a scope of the cooperation memorandum established in January of 2012 between the Defense Ministries, to deepen the bilateral cooperation in constructing installations for military and civil purposes and in training staffers, and to expand the cooperation at international and regional levels.
