FM RECEIVES POLAND'S NONRESIDENT AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Mr L.Bold received the Nonresident Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia, Mr Tadeusz Chomicki on November 19. The two sides noted that the high level meetings plays an important role in developing the traditional and friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Poland. They mentioned that economic and trade cooperation has been developing in recent years, and agreed that many possibilities exist to expand these ties. Mr Bold said Mongolia wants to run a mutually beneficial and intensive cooperation with European Union, including Poland. He also said that Mongolia--a chairman of the Communities of Democracies /CD/--wants to collaborate with Poland, one of the initiators of the CD. As the countries, who were the first among former socialist to choose the democracy in Europe and in Asia, Poland and Mongolia share common values, he added. The Ambassador Chomicki expressed an interest to continue organizing a consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and to support each other in international level.
