FOREIGN AMBASSADORS PRESENT CREDENTIALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the State of Israel to Mongolia, Mr Matan Vilnai presented the credentials to the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj on November 20. After this ceremony the President receives the Ambassador. The leader of Mongolia said the Mongolia-Israel relations and cooperation are on good level. Mentioning that our countries share some values and both have a market economy, he expressed an interest of Mongolia to cooperate with Israel in the agriculture sphere. Theh he confirmed that the President of Israel Mr Shimon Peres has been invited to Mongolia with a visit. The Ambassador of the State of Israel said that an delegations exchange plays an important role in a development of the two countries' ties. Mr Elbegdorj wished the Ambassador a success and said his Office is ready to help him. ** ** ** The same day, the leader of the country received the credentials from the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and extraordinary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Mr Aminu Bashir. Then the President ran a meeting with the Ambassador. He recalled a meeting with the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan during the UN session, and noted that African states' presidents have not visited Mongolia in the last 20 years. He hoped that Mr Jonathan would visit our country in order to strengthen our friendly relations. Then he invited high representatives of NIgeria to the CD's 7th Ministerial conference. Mr Ambassador said he will come to Mongolia often to meet people and to boost the two countries' ties. Ch.Enkhtuya
