French President confers Legion of Honour on UAE Chief of Staff

Abu Dhabi (WAM): French President, Francois Hollande has bestowed 'Commandeur de la Legion d'Honneur' (Legion of Honour) on Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, in the rank of a Commander in recognition to his services in the promotion of defence cooperation between the UAE Armed Forces and France's Armed Forces. The decoration ceremony was held in Paris, where the French Army Chief of Staff Admiral, Edouard Guillaud decorated the UAE Chief of Staff with the Legion of Honour in the presence of a number of armed forces officers of the two countries. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
