FUEL RESERVES TO INCREASE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting on Saturday made a decision to increase the state and companies' fuel reserves making them enough for 60 days. In 2008, parliament issued #48 resolution obliging the cabinet to increase the fuel reserves to 120 thousand tons, which would be satisfactory for two months, and to build reserve tanks but this work was done poorly, besides, companies' capacity to reserve the fuel have not changed since 2008 despite an increase in fuel importers. These and other serious reasons have led to a registration of oil reserving companies and to a reform in their types and sizes. The cabinet decided to fully realize the parliamentary resolution by March 1 of 2013 and to consider the realization every August. B.Khuder
