Gargash leads UAE delegation to Arab Foreign Ministers' emergency meeting

Cairo: Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is leading the UAE delegation to the extraordinary meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers at the League of Arab States in Cairo, Egypt. The UAE delegation to the meeting includes Mohammed bin Nakheera Al Dhaheri, Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab State, Ambassador Jassim Al Khloufi, Director of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Shihab Ahmed Al Fahim, Assistant Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs at MoFA, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan of MoFA, and Ali Al Shamili, Third Secretary at UAE Embassy in Cairo. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas attended the meeting which was chaired by Morocco. At the meeting, participants discussed the hurdles put by Israel in the path of Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations, including its refusal to release the fourth batch of Palestinian prisoners.
