General Secretary of Turkish President’s Administration: Relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan strengthened even more

By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend: Relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are being strengthened even more, General Secretary of the Turkish President's Administration Mustafa Isen told Trend on Nov.8.
Friendly, brotherly relations between the two countries are based on the common culture and history. In addition, there is economic cooperation between the two countries, Isen said answering the question about holding of the next meeting of the Supreme Council on Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey that will be held in Ankara.
The relations between the two countries develop on all spheres on the basis of the principle of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev "One nation - two states," the General Secretary said.
"We can confidently say that the Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are much better today than it was earlier and further strengthening of these relations is expected in the future," Isen said.
According to him, there is no any problem between Ankara and Baku in political and economic relations and the development of these relations will continue at the highest level.
"With the re-election of Ilham Aliyev to the post of the president the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations will reach to a higher level," Isen said.
Alongside with all of this, we should pay attention to another particularity.
"Of course, economic and political relations between our countries are very important, but at the same time, cultural ties that unify us are also of great significance. The development of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are also at high level. I would like to stress that during the past two years my books were translated into the Azerbaijani language and were presented to Azerbaijani readers," he said.
Meanwhile, books of the Azerbaijani writers such as Anar and Elchin Efendiyev were translated into Turkish language, Isen said.
According to the General Secretary, the preparation of joint telecasts, production of joint movies serve to the deepening of relations between Ankara and Baku.
The next meeting of the Supreme Council on Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey will be held on November 12-13 in Ankara.
