Georgian president ready to give up all privileges

Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec. 21 / Trend N.Kirtskhalia /
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is ready to deprive himself of all privileges if parliament takes a decision on the order of 'one person' (Prime-Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili).
"As soon as they decide to transfer the security service to the government, all guards will be dismissed. I do not need airplanes and armoured cars. I am ready to meet people everywhere and on my own two feet. I am ready to use the cars of my relatives to meet my fellow citizens. I will take my mother's car and travel around the country, "he said.
Saakashvili stressed that he fears nothing and trusts the people.
An incident recently took place in Kutaisi. A crowd, demanding the resignation of the president did not let him leave the office of the United National Movement (UNM). After guards managed to take the president out, they showered his motorcade with stones and inflicted physical abuse on the deputy of UNM Akaki Minashvili.
The Georgian Dream coalition, led by Bidzina Ivanishvili won according to the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia, which were held on October 1. Georgian Dream received 85 deputy mandates, while the United National Movement, supporting the president, was given only 65 deputy mandates.
