G.TSOGTSAIKHAN RECIEVES VIETNAMESE AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr L.Tsogtsaikhan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Mr Hoan Tuan Thin on December 10. The Ambassador gave L.Tsogtsaikhan a note on recognizing each other's market economy status. By this the two countries aim to strengthen their friendly traditional cooperation, to expand the trade and economic ties, to form a friendly investment environment. The same day in Vietnam, the Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam D.Enkhbat presented the note to the Vietnamese Foreign Vice-minister Bui Thanh Son. Mr Tsogtsaihan confirmed that Mongolia has been giving a high importance to Vietnam, one of its important partners in South East Asia, appreciated Vietnam's efforts to have its market economy status recognized, and expressed a confidence that, by accepting each other's such a status, they will boost trade and economic relations. Mr Hoan Tuan Thin expressed a satisfaction with the successfully developing friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, and said that the collaboration ought to be activated in all spheres so as to contribute to the regional peace, stability and cooperation, and to development deeds.
