Hamed bin Zayed meets Russian First Deputy Prime Minister

Moscow: H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, has discussed with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, relations of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Russia. Shuvalov welcomed Sheikh Hamed's visit to Moscow, which comes in the light of developing relations between the two countries in all domains, lauding the strong and distinguished ties between the two countries, which are based on friendship, cooperation and mutual respect. The meeting, held at the Russian Government headquarters, dealt with ways of bolstering bilateral relations within the distinguished and developing friendship relations and mutual interest, especially in the economic and investment sectors. Sheikh Hamed also discussed with Shuvalov the appropriate ways of establishing joint projects and the importance of regular cooperation and coordination for delivering the economic goals of the two countries. The two sides also discussed plans and programmes which would open up wide opportunities for companies and businesspersons in the two countries to implement diversified projects for serving the economy in both sides. Sheikh Hamed said that ''the UAE is looking forward to further cooperation and establishing economic partnerships with Russia and, in the same time, is welcoming the care given by the Russian companies to boost their presence in the UAE market.'' He added that the UAE has the suitable environment to attract foreign investment given the country's infrastructural, legislative and logistic assets. He also referred that the UAE-Russian ties were witnessing steady growth in the field of environmental investment.
