HEALTH MINISTER RECEIVES TURKISH AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Health N.Udval met Thursday Mr Mustafa Sarnic, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia at his request.
The Ambassador congratulated Ms Udval on being appointed the Health Minister and wished her success. He expressed satisfaction with widening of the Mongolia-Turkey brotherhood and friendly relations in all sectors with new contents.
Having thanked the Ambassador, the Minister underlined that the bilateral ties and cooperation have been successfully developing not only in the political and economic sectors, but also in the health sphere. "The Health Ministries of our countries have established the 2011-2013 cooperation plan. It is very important to design directions of the collaboration in the health sector," Ms Udval underlined, adding she is glad to see an implementation of some works reflected in the plan.
The Mongolian obstetricians and gynecologists have been trained in Turkey, and it has been fruitful in terms of fortifying the human resources of the Mongolian health sector. She thanked Turkey for technical assistance--the latest hi-tech medical equipment costing USD 545,500--given to the National Center of Bloodtransfusion.
Mr Sanic briefed on reforms being done in his country's health sector, and said he wants to do effective works in Mongolia, especially to found a hospital invested by Turkey.
Apart of these issues, the sides focused on other matters of the cooperation and agreed to strengthen the health collaboration.
