Hegemons seeking to take revenge on Islamic resistance: Syria envoy

TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (MNA) – Syrian Ambassador to Iran Hamed Hassan said that the hegemonistic powers have been seeking to take revenge on the countries that have put up resistance against the Zionist regime. Hassan made the remarks during a meeting with a number of the members of Iranian and foreign student groups and organizations based in Iran on Saturday. “The hegemons attempted to create some problems for the countries that are in the axis of resistance and started to hatch plots in Iran and Syria,” Hassan said, according to a translation of his remarks. He added that both Iran and Syria are committed to implementing national decisions and continuing resistance against the economic and political hegemony of outsiders, particularly the United States and the Zionist regime.
