Iran ‘principal supporter’ of political process in Iraq: Iranian ambassador

TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (MNA) – The Islamic Republic is the “principal supporter” of the political process that is underway in Iraq, Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Danaiifar told Iraqi President Jalal Talibani during a meeting in Baghdad late on Tuesday. In the meeting, the two sides discussed Tehran-Baghdad relations and emphasized the necessity of expanding bilateral ties in all spheres.
