Iran drove US back by braving its wrath: Leader

TEHRAN, Sep. 09 (MNA) – Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran’s resistance against the US has proved that nations are able to defeat superpowers if they rely on their own strength and stand unperturbed against the wrath and hostility of bullies. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Khamenei, made the remarks in his speech at the graduation ceremony of army cadets at the Imam Khomeini Naval Academy on Sunday in Nowshahr. “The Arrogance, led by the cruel and oppressive US, sees its interests in creating civil wars, escalating terrorist activities and aggravating regional conflicts, and regrettably, some countries in the region help them with this agenda,” said the Leader.
