Iran FM Arrives In Turkey

Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi arrived in Konya province, south of Ankara, on Wednesday. Upon arrival in Konya airport, Salehi was warmly welcomed by Turkish local officials. Salehi then visited the mausoleum of the Iranian renowned poet Molana Jalaleddin Rumi (Molana) in Konya. Salehi is in Turkey to attend the 23rd Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission session to open on Thursday. During his two-day stay, the Iranian foreign minister is to meet a number of senior officials of the country, including his counterpart, to review issues of mutual interest and the latest regional developments./end
