Iran FM Confers With UN Special Envoy : Lebanon PM In Munich

Berlin, Feb 3, IRNA - Visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in separate meetings held talks with UN special envoy on Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mighati on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference Saturday evening. As to the latest developments in Syria, the Iranian diplomat, in his meetings, stressed the pivotal role of the regional countries, Iran and Lebanon in particular, for settling the Syrian crisis. Salehi arrived in the south German city of Munich on Saturday to address the 49th Munich Security Conference./end
