Iran prepared to help Afghan army

TEHRAN, Dec. 14 (MNA) – Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said that Iran is prepared to help Afghanistan build up its army. The “friendly and brotherly” country of Afghanistan should have a mighty army in order to be able to protect its national security, Vahidi said during a meeting with Afghanistan’s Deputy Defense Minister Homayun Fawzi in Tehran on Tuesday.
