Iran-Russia Share Identical View On Syria Developments - Official

Moscow, Aug 5, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian said Saturday that Iran and Russia enjoy common strategic views regarding current developments in Syria. Talking to IRNA, Amir Abdollahian said that both countries are against any military intervention in Syria's internal affairs, underlining the need for cessation of terrorist operations in that country. He reiterated that the existing problem between the Syrian government and its opponents should be resolved through peaceful solutions. Amir Abdollahian further condemned moves by certain countries to make Syria insecure. Abdollahian paid a day-long visit to Moscow to review the latest regional developments with senior Russian officials./end
