Iran will respond to countries that sanction Iran : Iran`s Mehmanparast

TEHRAN, Dec. 14 (MNA) –Asked about the sanctions imposed by Japan on Iran on December 9 ,Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast said, “Recently, certain countries, including Japan, under pressure from a number of Western countries, have announced that they will put imposing sanctions on Iran on their agenda.” He added, “We have announced that we have historical relations, fraternal ties, and good cooperation with these countries. If countries take measures that would affect good relations between the two countries and their economic cooperation, they should take this issue into consideration that we will take the necessary appropriate measure in this regard. And they should be aware that the countries that are exerting pressure on them are only seeking their interests and political purposes and do not attach the least significance to the interests of regional countries and Asian countries.”
