Iranian Envoy Presents Credentials To Tunisian President

Algiers, April 21, IRNA – Iran’s new Ambassador to Tunis Peyman Jebelli submitted his credentials to the Tunisian President Moncef al-Marzouki. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interests. President al-Marzouki said his country attaches importance to expansion of ties with Iran as a great Islamic country. The Iranian envoy, for his part, expressed Tehran’s readiness to bolster relations with Tunis in all fields. Jebelli was caretaker of Iran’s Embassy in Tunisia./end
