Iranian MP censures Britain’s approach toward Tajik case

TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (MNA) – Iranian MP Esmaeil Kowsari severely criticized the British government’s attitude toward the issue of Nosratollah Tajik. Iran’s former ambassador to Jordan, Nosratollah Tajik, is under house arrest in Britain for allegedly trying to export night vision equipment to Iran. Tajik is facing extradition to the U.S. over the alleged bid. The decision to extradite Tajik from Britain to the United States after five years in prison is an “illegal” move, Kowsari said.
