Iranian official in Moscow to discuss IAEA report, step-by-step proposal

TEHRAN, Nov. 9(MNA) – The deputy secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Baqeri, left Tehran for Moscow on Tuesday to hold talks with Russian officials on various issues including Iran’s nuclear activities, the new IAEA report which will be released on Wednesday, and the Russian step-by-step proposal. It will be the fourth round of negotiations between the two countries over the past three months. In August, Russian and Iranian officials held several meetings in Tehran and Moscow to discuss Russia’s “step-by-step” plan about Iran’s nuclear program and explored ways to enhance cooperation in the nuclear sphere. According to the step-by-step approach, announced on July 13, Iran could address questions about its nuclear program and be rewarded with a gradual easing of sanctions.
