Iran's 1st VP Congratulates Kyrgyz Prime Minister

Tehran, Jan 3, IRNA – Iran's 1st Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi on Monday congratulated Kyrgyzstan's new Prime Minister on his election. In a message to Amourbeyk Babanev, Rahimi described forming of the first government after the recent developments in Kyrgyzstan and the victory of the Prime Minister in the Parliament as a new promising point for establishing peace and stability in that country, said a statement released by the Presidential Press Office. The message also described the new phase in Kyrgyzstan as a raising and turning point for that country to move toward economic reconstruction and an improvement in welfare for the friendly nation of Kyrgyzstan. The message reads: I am confident your term of office will be a new phase for mutual cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan./end
