Japan looks forward to strengthening partnership with Abu Dhabi during Mohamed bin Zayed's to Tokyo

Tokyo: The economic sources in Tokyo said Japan is looking forward to the visit of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on 25th February, so as to strengthen the cooperation ties between the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular, especially in the sectors of infrastructure and natural resources through joint ventures with public and private sectors. Sheikh Mohamed will meet with Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. According to the Japanese economic sources, the UAE and Japan will discuss cooperation ties in the areas of energy and investment with focus on the mutual interest. The cooperation scope covers projects under construction in the fields of energy and construction worth US$484 million. According to Nikai group, the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum, which was set up with a joint initiative by Japan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in 2010, contributes to the relations and projects. The report added that Abu Dhabi was seeking to woo investments from the Japanese companies in the areas of natural resources, infrastructure and financing.
