Javanfekr: Iran Seeking Co-op, Dialog With Other Countries

Tehran, Feb 28, IRNA – Presidential Advisor for Press Affairs Ali Akbar Javanfekr said that the Iranian government is after promoting cooperation and dialog with other countries.
Javanfekr made the remark in a press conference on Monday morning.
He dismissed rumors that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ordered cutting oil exports to hostile countries and said that the the government is keen on promoting ties with world countries.
Javanfekr said that only the US and the Zionist regime are considered Iran’s enemies, adding that Tehran is willing to retain good and friendly ties with European countries.
He said in the meantime that Iran is well-prepared to give a strong response to enemies citing guidelines of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Javanfekr, who also heads the official Islamic Republic News Agency and Iran Press and Cultural Institute affiliated to IRNA, further outlined the achievements of the government since President Ahmadinejad took to office first in 2005.
He said through the period, Iran has managed to turn into a nuclear power thanks to good planning and well-calculated programs./end
