Jeenbekov, Tokayev lay flowers at Ata Beyit Memorial Complex

Bishkek, Nov.27, 2019. /Kabar/. Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Wednesday the Ata-Beyit National Historical and Memorial Complex. The two leaders laid flowers at the Memorial to the victims of the tragic events of 1916 and at the grave of Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. Memorial prayer was read, the President’s press service said. Today, Nov. 27 Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for state visit. In addition, the Kazakh leader will take part in the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on Thursday, Nov. 28, in Bishkek.
