Judiciary Chief: Amano Releases New Report Under US Influence

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli-Larijani said on Wednesday that director-general of International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano released one-sided report on Iranian nuclear program under influence of the US and the European governments. He told a meeting of high-ranking officials of the Judiciary, “We have on several occasions declared that we need no nuclear weapon to influence on others; rather we influence on the hearts through values and beliefs.” The impact the Islamic Revolution left on the region and world was more effective than one thousand nuclear weapons, he said. 'You have stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction and that’s you who used such bombs against Japan and now introducing yourselves as advocates of human rights,' he said. Although the Iranian nation has indicated that such plots are ineffective, all should make efforts to consolidate unity in the country and avoid any divisive measure to thwart the new US conspiracy, Larijani said./end
