Kim Jong Un Visits October 3 Factory under KPA Navy

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA), gave field guidance to the October 3 Factory under KPA Navy Unit 597. Enjoying the panoramic view of the factory, he said that it has been so drastically face-lifted that its appearance last year could no longer be found. It is an icon and standard in the nation's field of ship repair, he added. The updating of the factory provided a solid material and technical foundation for repairing any warship in a short span of time, he noted. He gave precious instructions to be implemented by the factory to manage and operate, noting that the factory has a very important role to play in developing the Juche-oriented naval force. He expressed great expectation and conviction that the officials and workers of the factory would make positive contributions to developing the Juche-oriented naval force, noting that the defense of the territorial waters means national defense in Korea surrounded by the seas on three sides. -0-
