Kim Jong Un Visits Sinhung Machine Plant

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave field guidance to the Sinhung Machine Plant. He looked round the remodeled room for education in the revolutionary history at the plant. He stressed the need for the plant to conduct more efficient education in the immortal leadership feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il through the room so that its workers can carry out with loyalty the Party's plan for building an economic power with production of machines as pioneers and scouts in building the economic power, always cherishing the noble intention of the great leaders who had shown loving care for them. Then he went round assembly, processing and forging shops and other parts of the plant to learn in detail about the development and production of new products. He expressed pleasure over the fact that its officials and workers have made big strides in a drive to produce new kinds of high-performance machines as required by the Party. The plant has a very important role to play in building an economic power, he said, setting forth the tasks for updating it to meet the needs of the age of knowledge-based economy and a highly civilized socialist nation so that it can lead the country's machine building industry. He expressed belief that the workers of the plant would creditably discharge their heavy yet honorable duty by displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude to overcome manifold difficulties and inheriting the indomitable fighting spirit of the preceding generations. -0-
