Egils Levits added that he is closely watching the changes in the political system in Kyrgyzstan in recent years, and he knows the country as firmly standing in the way of parliamentary democracy. “I am a lawyer by profession, therefore I am well acquainted with the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan. Our countries are the same in that the main values ​​for us are the rule of law and democracy. We have great expectations that we will be able to establish close economic ties and bring these directions to a new level of cooperation,” he said. The parliamentary delegation led by Dzhumabekov in the framework of official visits to Latvia and Lithuania holds a number of meetings.
