Kyrgyz Students Association established in Guangdong Province of China

Bishkek, Oct.3, 2019. /Kabar/. China’s Guangzhou city hosted official, festive events, dedicated to establishment of the Kyrgyz Students Association in Guangdong Province, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported. In their speeches, the meeting participants - representatives of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Guangzhou, entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan carrying out their activities in the region, students in Guangzhou universities - noted the relevance of creating this format of mutual support, communication of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to the concept, the Association, established with the advisory assistance of Kyrgyzstan’s Consulate General in Guangzhou, is a public, non-profit organization, uniting students of Kyrgyzstan studying in Guangzhou. The objectives of the Association are to bring together compatriots in Guangdong Province, to provide mutual assistance in difficult situations and support for newcomers. The Association plans to hold joint events, such as sports events, meetings and celebrations of national holidays. The idea of creating a student association met with a positive response among Kyrgyz citizens, temporarily or permanently residing in Guangzhou. The Consulate General and entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan expressed their readiness to provide the necessary assistance and support in the activities of the Association.
