Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan sign comprehensive cooperation program

One of the main documents signed during the state visit of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Kyrgyzstan is the Comprehensive Program for Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, following talks with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, told reporters that this program covers all areas of bilateral cooperation. “In general, the Kyrgyz side is pleased with the results of the negotiations, and I would like to note the fruitful continuation of our cooperation. Today’s talks will give impetus to the further active continuation of political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation at all levels,” the President of Kyrgyzstan said. In addition, Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that fraternal, allied, strategic and partnership relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will create the prerequisites for the well-being of our peoples. “The results of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan, respected Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will serve to strengthen Kyrgyz-Kazakh friendship and fraternal relations between the countries,” Jeenbekov added.
