Larijani: Iran Defends Palestinians In All Fields

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA – Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said compromise will not bring any achievement for Palestinians, adding that Iran will defend rights of oppressed people of Palestine in all fields. Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with a number of Palestinians released from the Zionist regime prisons here on Saturday afternoon. Larijani added that the late Imam Khomeini had called the issue of Palestine as the main issue for Islamic Revolution and Islamic world. Referring to the recent developments in the region and the wave of Islamic awakening, Larijani said that the wave is a huge capacity for defending rights of oppressed people of Palestine and, undoubtedly, has positive effects on liberation of Palestine. The released prisoners stated their memoirs from imprisonment period and Israeli behavior with them. They appreciated Iran’s support for Palestine cause and said that Palestinians will never recognize the Zionist regime and will continue their resistance until freedom of all Palestinian territory./end
