Latvian President receives Abdullah bin Zayed

Riga: President Andris Berzins of Latvia received yesterday the visiting UAE Foreign Minister, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and discussed with him ways of enhancing bilateral ties, especially in health services and cultural exchange. During the meeting, President Berzins and Sheikh Abdullah also reviewed a variety of issues of common concern. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Latvian President, and his keenness on boosting ties between the two friendly countries as well as his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the people of Latvia. For his part, President Berzins asked Sheikh Abdullah to convey his greetings to the U.A.E. President, and his best wishes for good health and happiness to him, and more progress and prosperity for the U.A.E. people. as well as his interest to boost ties of friendship and cooperation with the U.A.E.– Emirates News Agency, WAM
