L.BOLD RECEIVES CANADIAN AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister for Foreign affairs, Mr L.Bold received the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Canada to Mongolia, Mr Gregory Goldhawk on November 19. The sides mentioned that the 40th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada will occur in 2013, and agreed that a round table meeting, which plays an important role in deepening of the mutual trust and understanding, must be run, and that high level meetings must be organized. The dignitaries expressed a mutual satisfaction with a cooperation that has been boosting in the "Expanded partnership" frames in various fields. The Ambassador said Canada considers Mongolia as its important partner in North-East Asia. While talking about facilitating the visa regime, which would support citizens' exchange, Mr Goldhawk said his government will soon grant the Mongolians a ten-year multiple visa. The Minister Bold gave some information about the actions of the Community of Democracies (CD), being chaired by Mongolia, and requested the Ambassador to pass an invitation to Canada's FM to the 7th Ministerial meeting of the CD, scheduled April 29 of 2013 in the UB city.
