LIVE BIRTHS AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first ten months of this year, 62 thousand 85 mothers delivered 62,347 children, increasing 3,418 mothers or 5.8 per cent and by 3,450 children or 5.9 per cent against the previous year. At a national level, the infant mortality decreased by 16 or 1.7 per cent to 949, and child mortality aged 1-5 decreased by 5 or 2.4 per cent to 206. The number of unemployed reached 40.1 thousand at the end of October 2012, going up by 745 people or 1.9 per cent against the same period of 2011. B.Khuder
