Meeting of Kyrgyz FM with Azerbaijani leader Aliyev

Bishkek, Feb.6, 2020./Kabar/. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov, who has arrived in Baku for working visit, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said Wednesday.
During the meeting the two sides discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda.
Special attention was paid to the issues of the upcoming first official visit of Azerbaijani leader Aliyev to Kyrgyzstan in this autumn.
The Azeri President noted that thanks to the efforts of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations are reaching a qualitatively new level.
He expressed the willingness of the Azerbaijani side to invest in the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The sides stressed the importance of early implementation of the project on construction of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Friendship Park and a secondary school in Bishkek, which will become a symbol of friendship and brotherhood of the two countries, as well as resumption of direct flight between the two capitals.
FM Chingiz Aidarbekov is in Azerbaijan to attend an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of member-states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), to be held in Baku on Feb.6.
The Kyrgyz FM leads the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting of foreign ministers of the member-states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) was held in Baku on Oct. 13-14, 2019. The 7th Summit of the Turkic Council was held on Oct. 15-16.
The Turkic Council was established by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on Oct. 3, 2009, in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan city.
Uzbekistan joined the organization in 2019.
The organization's goal is to develop comprehensive cooperation among the member-states.
