Meeting of Kyrgyz President and Prosecutor General of Turkey’s Court of Cassation Akardzha

Bishkek, Oct.3, 2019. /Kabar/. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov today, Oct. 3 met with Prosecutor General of Turkey’s Court of Cassation Mehmet Akardzha. According to the press service of the President, the sides exchanged views on the interaction between law enforcement agencies of the two countries. Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted with satisfaction that the 17th meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states was successfully held in Bishkek, once again noting that Turkey is an important strategic partner for Kyrgyzstan. The Prosecutor General of the Court of Cassation of Turkey expressed his gratitude to the President for the meeting, and conveyed the words of greetings from Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop. During the meeting, Akardzha stressed since the beginning of Jeenbekov's presidency, the bilateral relations between the two countries have improved, and their progressive development is observed.
