Mehmanparast: Iran Takes Security Of PG, Hormuz Strait Seriously

Bushehr, Feb 16, IRNA - Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Wednesday the Iranian Armed Forces are on full alert because Iran takes the security of Persian Gulf and Hormuz Strait seriously. He made the remark in a meeting with Bushehr province Governor General Mohammad Hossein Jahanbakhsh. Mehmanparast said Iran’s defense capability is great and it is ready to vigorously safeguards the Persian Gulf security and stability. He reiterated that the Iranian Armed Forces are read for any preemptive actions because enemies are targeting positions which are weakly defended. The spokesman said Iran’s full alertness guarantees the stability of the regional countries because enemies are bent on destabilizing the region./end
