'Military drill to close Hormuz Strait a serious warning to U.S.'

TEHRAN, Dec.17 (MNA) – Iranian MP Hossein Ebrahimi of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said on Friday that Iran’s war game on the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which is scheduled to be held in the near future, is a “serious warning” to the United States. He also said that the Islamic Republic can cripple the economies of Europe and the U.S. with the closure of the strategic chokepoint, adding if attacked Iran will certainly close the waterway and do its utmost to harm U.S. interests around the world.
