MINING MINISTER MEETS RUSSIAN MINISTER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister for Mining, D.Gankhuyag received the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Sergey Donskoy December 24. The latter said the Russian side wants to activate a memorandum on cooperation in a geological sector, to remake the 3D geological map, to cooperate in energy, coal and infrastructure spheres. Then the two sides shared views on a preparation of staffers, providing a geological research equipment. The Minister Gankhuyag requested the Russian side to consider a possibility of reducing prices of petroleum exported by the Russian Rosneft company to Mongolia. It was recently discovered that Rosneft exports petroleum to other countries at much lower prices. Noting that the cabinet for reforms decided to intensify an establishment of the petroleum plant, Mr Gankhuyag suggested cooperating in this project with Russia and its Rosneft. Ch.Enkhtuya
