Mohamed bin Zayed meets First Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt

Cairo: His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday met General Abdel Fattah El Sisi, First Deputy Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production of Egypt, at the Ministry of Defence's headquarters in Cairo. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and El-Sisi discussed the fraternal relations and ways to strengthen them in the best interest of the two countries. The meeting was attended by H. H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and H .H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister. Sheikh Mohamed praised the huge national role of the Egyptian army in critical time in which they helped the country to cross to safety as well as their pivotal in protecting the institutions from the enemies. He noted that the Egyptian people are aware about their national and historic responsibilities, therefore "their stance was the major response to those who sought to tamper with the stability, security, development and co-existence in Egypt". He expressed hopes that Egyptians would continue shouldering their national and historic responsibilities until Egypt restores its regional and international status as well as continue the development and tackle the challenges. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
