Mohamed bin Zayed receives German Foreign Minister

Abu Dhabi (WAM): His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received yesterday at Al Mamoura, the visiting German Federal Foreign Minister, Dr Frank Walter Steinmeier. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed the German Minister and his accompanying delegation. They discussed the bilateral relations between the UAE and Germany and ways to bolster them, as well as issues of mutual concern. Sheikh Mohamed and Dr Frank Walter Steinmeier reviewed strategic cooperation avenues in the light of the distinguished ties between the two countries and the joint interest in the economic, educational, investment and political coordination fields pertaining to a number of issues and dossiers at the regional and international levels. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister attended the meeting. The two sides affirmed the keenness of the two countries' leaderships to enhance the bilateral relations to meet the aspirations of the friendly peoples and countries.
