Mohamed bin Zayed: U.A.E. backs Saudi King's initiative for donor conference for Egypt
U.A.E. has welcomed the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, for a donor conference for Egypt.
His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of U.A.E. Armed Forces affirmed that the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan endorse and back the generous initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the conference of Egypt's friends and brothers.
H.H. the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi noted that these directives embody the keen interest of His Highness the President in supporting the brothers in the Arab Republic of Egypt for fulfilling the aspirations and ambitions of the Egyptian people for stability and further progress and prosperity.
He also emphasised that U.A.E. will sincerely contribute to all efforts that would enable the brothers in Egypt to face the different challenges in order to fulfil their ambition for pride, dignity, growth and development.
He thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his good initiative which reflects his keen interest in backing all efforts that serve the interests of the Arab Nation and the Muslim Nation and bolster the stability and security of this region.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said, "This blessed invitation affirms that the two brotherly countries have a common vision for Egypt and its important role and for the fact that this role should not be affected and that Egypt should be protected from any plots targeting its security and regional security." H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed added, "The Egyptian people have had their say, made their choice and voiced their support for the programme which President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi presented and which focuses on working for building the future of Egypt and protecting the rights of its people, its security and stability." – Emirates News Agency, WAM
