Mohammed bin Rashid, Malaysian Prime Minister discuss regional and international topics on peace and stability

Dubai (WAM): Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Monday received Malaysian Prime Minister Mohammed Najib and discussed with him a variety of topics concerning regional and international peace and stability and ways to achieve sustainable development in the Islamic World. Sheikh Mohammed and Najib discussed the significance of the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF), which will convene in Dubai from 28-30 October 2014. H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, attended the meeting. The Malaysian prime minister expressed his delight at participating in the two-day forum on top of a high-profile Malaysian delegation, and praised the constructive role of the U.A.E., in general, and Dubai, in particular, in building the global Islamic economy. He also lauded Sheikh Mohammed's vision of making Dubai the 'Capital of Islamic Economy'.
