Mohammed bin Rashid receives Malaysian Prime Minister

Dubai (WAM): Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Thursday at the Za'beel Palace, received Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mohammad Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak, and the delegation accompanying him on his visit to UAE During their meeting which was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and prime minister Najib Razak had exchanges on a number of economic matters of common interest. The two sides also stressed on the importance of strengthening the UAE-Malaysian bilateral relations, in particular in trade exchange and the building of economic partnerships that are in mutually beneficial for their peoples. The Malaysian prime minister expressed his confidence that his current visit to UAE will contribute to finding new avenues for wider cooperation and building tourism and cultural bridges, alongside economic cooperation between the two countries. Mr. Razak expressed his congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and UAE leadership for winning the bid to host World Expo 2020. He termed the win as well-deserved as UAE is a gateway between the East and the West and a hub for the world's cultures with outstanding civilisation and hospitality. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
