MONGOLIA-RUSSIA CONSULAR CONSULTATIVE MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 12th consular consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Russian Federation took place Tuesday in Moscow, Russia. The meeting was co-chaired by Sh.Sukhbaatar, a director of the Consular Department of Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by his Russian counterpart Mr A.G.Karlov. The two sides expressed their position on mutual visits of people and on draft documents on improving the legal environment to protect interests of people in a recipient country, and then concluded a present situation of civil rights protection and activities of border checkpoints. In addition, the issues of expanding activities of consuls in the two countries were considered. The meeting resulted in agreeing to exchange facts on violation of citizens' interests and to give official response to every case. B.Khuder
