MONGOLIA WANTS TO PREPARE STAFFERS IN RUSSIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia wants to prepare investigation service staff in Russia, placing orders, Kh.Temuujin, the Minister of Justice, told Thursday Mr V.V.Samoilenko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia. Mr Temuujin mentioned that many law specialists had been educated in Russia for some 90 years, without specific orders, and requested the Ambassador to help involve the Mongolian investigation officers in short-term trainings in the first turn and train selected from the University of Law Enforcement cadets for longer time. An experience exchange between policemen and police officers might be fruitful as well, he noted. In turn, Mr Samoilenko noted that the two sides have not been realizing a cooperation at its full lately, and said he is ready to convey the Minister's requests to his state's leaders. Kh.Temuujin said his Ministry is working out a programme on the cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and that he will submit new bills to parliament early 2013. These draft laws focus on combating the transboundary crimes such as drugs trade, human trafficking, money laundering, and on preparing trained staffers, he added. B.Khuder
