MONGOLIA'S DELEGATION AT UNFCCC

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Green Development has been participating in the United Nations Climate Change Conference. It opened November 26 and will continue until December 7 at the Qatar National convention Centre in Doha, Qatar. On December 4, the high level session of UN Framework Convention Climate Change /UNFCCC/ will run, in which the Minister of Nature, Environment and Green Development S.Ouyn has been invited. The conference has gathered 17 thous. representatives, press officials and civil society member from 190 states. A Chairman of Environment, Food and Agricultural Standing Committee G.Bayarsaikhan will join Ms Oyun to deliver speech about Mongolia's activities for reducing climate change's affect, for adaptation, for reducing greenhouses gas emission. Then Mongolian delegation will organize together with some international organizations discussions on methods and policies in climate change. The United Nations Climate Changes Conferences are annual government meetings held in different locations around the world under the sponsorship of the United Nations that serve as a forum for countries to discuss climate change matters. The conference is casually called the COP18 /CMP 8 conference but these are technically different but closely related and sometimes integrated conferences. In 2012, the UNFCCC conference serves as an umbrella for seven concurrent and interrelated meeting groups collectively called the Doha 2012 UNFCCC conference. Ch.Enkhtuya
